Yay Biochemistry!

Welcome to my website about biochemistry. Here you will find some basic information about biochemistry. Having taken both AP Biology and AP Chemistry, most of the time I know what I'm talking about. In fact, I want to major in biochemistry when I grow up. But that's another story.

For years I've found it really fun to explain biochemistry to people. I usually get too excited and explain things non-stop. This site, however, won't be too complicated as I want all kinds of people (not just AP students) to benefit from this.

I've used a couple of sources to create this page. I've referred to Zumdahl's chemistry book, Ebbing and Wentworth's chemistry book, and Cliffs and Princeton AP Biology books to help organize my thoughts and make sure I don't forget to explain important things; however, I usually type up all of the information myself. I don't copy out of the book and prefer to explain things the way they best make sense to me; I'm only using the books as a guide.

If you have any questions about anything (suggestions, comments, etc.), e-mail me!

And what is my favorite topic in biochemistry, you ask? Why enzymes, of course! DNA is cool too, actually.
